This trek takes you through the wonderfully green and lush environment surrounding Pokhara. Even in such a short space of time you will be right in amongst the characteristic terraced hillsides, the hospitable Gurung villages and on those superb ridge top trails that are so typical of Himalayan trekking.

The 'extra' on this trek is the close proximity to the great snow peaks, a closeness that is even remarkable for a country like Nepal! In one spectacular panorama can be seen Annapurna, South Hinchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna IV and II and Lamjung -and right in the center, the awesome Machhapuchhare or "Fish Tail.”
