This classic trek is an unusual diversity of both mountain cultures and starkly different geographical regions. The Annapurna circuit includes mountain passes, the deepest valley in the world, the desert of the Tibetan plateau, pine forests, rice paddies, monasteries and people as diverse as Tibetan lamas, Thakali traders, and Hindu farmers. The climb of Chulu East offers rock scrambling and snow/ ice climbing sections in a spectacular Himalayan setting!
